What to expect at Drop off

I work out of my home

My studio is in my basement. There is a flight of wooden stairs (with a hand rail) to get to the basement. If stairs are an issue, we can absolutely meet upstairs. All my patterns and thread color samples can be brought up stairs.

Quilt pattern

We will lay out your backing and quilt top together so we know which way is up for both the top and the backing.We can make notes on any special considerations for your quilt top. I have 2 big notebooks with my pattern choices, I have hundreds. We will look through the books and find the perfect pattern for your quilt top.

Thread colors

We do not have to use the same color on the top and the bottom of the quilt. I stock over 100 colors of top thread and over 50 colors of bobbin thread. I use Glide bobbins and both Glide and So Fine top thread.

Estimate

I will estimate the cost of your quilt project before you leave. For the estimate, I will measure the top for the quilting cost and also guess how much thread I will use. Those are the two costs that might change but would only be a few dollars. Only custom quilts will require a deposit.
