1. Measure the length and the width of your quilt top
2. Multiply those numbers together
3. Now, multiply your answer by the price per square inch.
4. The final number is your cost for the quilting
Example:
My quilt top measures 65”x 88”
65 x 88= 5720
5720 x.02 = $114.40 =Quilting Cost
I use Quilters Dream batting which is 90 inches wide. My most popular types of batting are the cotton, 80/20 cotton/poly blend, and wool. All are $11 a yard and I will only charge you for what you use. If you would like to use your own batting please make sure it is 5 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides.
I stock many colors of So Fine! Polyester thread, this gives the quilt a wonderful finished look. There is a $2.50 charge for each bobbin, this covers the top thread too. 100% cotton thread is available, upon requests.
There is a $10 a seam charge for sewing the backing together. If you choose to sew your own backing, please leave a half inch seam allowance with the seams pressed open. The backing must be 5 inches larger than the quilt top.
I am happy to bind your quilt for you. There is a .30 a linear inch charge for binding. We can customize the binding options to fit your needs.
